Reader Tree — Terms of Use

Reader Tree is a free, non‑commercial pilot for helping children build vocabulary through short stories. By using it, you agree to these simple terms. They’re written plainly on purpose.

Who can use it

Reader Tree is meant to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. If you set up a child’s reader, you confirm you are their parent or guardian and consent to the use described in our Privacy Policy.

Use it kindly

• Please use Reader Tree only for its intended purpose — a child reading and learning words.
• Don’t attempt to break, overload, scrape, or misuse the service, or access other families’ data.
• Provide a first name or nickname for your child rather than full personal details.

It’s a pilot — provided “as is”

Reader Tree is an early pilot offered free of charge and “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working and to keep data safe, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error‑free, and it may change or pause as the pilot evolves. To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from use of the pilot.

Content

Stories and app content belong to Reader Tree and are for personal, non‑commercial use within the app. A child’s own answers and progress belong to your family; you can ask us to export or delete them at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms as the pilot develops; we’ll change the date above when we do. If a change is significant, we’ll try to let signed‑in parents know.
